HELLO MY LOVELIES!

omg our final syf is over. just like that. we worked so hard through the 5 months, and poof, that 15 minutes on stage just, passed like that :\ but nevermind we got that gold and that's all that matters right? :D sure. we have gone through so much together, and now we really, really achieved whatever we wanted (: as the sec4 batch in SYF09! haha i'm damn proud and feel damn lucky that i'm a sec4 this year. hahahahahaha yaye yaye yaye! (:

after we got off that stage, at first i still felt quite blank, but then after awhile i realised, that our last syf was over. over. OVER OMG AND I WAS SCREAMING TO MYSELF INSIDE and so i started crying. cry cry cry. haha then i saw my parents. got a shock whooooo! i love them (: haha okay la then before the announcement of results was chionging pictures :D haha then the results omg.

I FINALLY GOT THE PASSWORD (:

haha what the hell. how fast time flies ): we're all sec3 alr, and we've even got roles now. well, and zoom, next year comes, we'll be saying goodbye to scband, isn't that sad?! omg D: i'm scared, very.

freak. and now we even have YPSB. haha conny special la, go the wind ensemble, so me ling jess & michelle are in the symphonic band together :D wahaha our section rocks shitloadds (: haha yaye! oh well. the concert's like coming alr, and i think i'm going to screw up that stupid northwoods song. my chorale and shaker okay alr (: and i believe irish is no problem la. haha lingli & jess jiayou for your chorale solos! lingli don't worry la its okay i'm sure the person will get over it soon, and you shouldn't feel worried kay! (: and jess, play louder la, not confident one eh you! i'm just quite worried about the northwoods song, cause its even harder than chorale and shaker. its fast and has to hit high notes quite often :\ and its not just the first, its the whole section leh. sure alot of work has to be put in one. but i'm sure we can all do it :D jiayou, conny, for your pieces, i'm sure you can do it! esp with that guy who sleeps during your sectionallls ;)

oh congrats conny! your SOLO! MUAAHA must be louder larh if not how can hear! but i prefer aventura. haha yes and mary poppins is abit weird here and there. yarh and then its going to be long before we finally have our next band prac. haiiz eoys are here, once again. and after that we're SECTHREE already. omg how fast does time pass.

oh well though its already one month already, lets just mention our concert. it was a success! yaye duh its SCBAND we're talking about :D yeah and we didnt screw anything much, and even if we did i dont think it was noticed much; but we still knew it, deep down somewhere. so our very first official concert is over. viva la band is over. our hardwork put in were proved in that one night we'll never forget; 28th july '07. aw its gone just like that okay ): but nevermind i'm sure we'll have more.

okay then i shall go now. maybe it'll be long before my next post. tata!

hello!

how are all of you? yaye band was monday tuesday and wednesday! to think lingli and i got so worried that there was goig to be drills :D well then, i guess drills would start soon anyway, so its beter to be mentally prepared.

haha i feel so dumb okay. conny and i got pumped for forgetting to get our that piece of paper. its my second time. and this is the second time somebody ever got pumped for that. they just started the rule. oh but i was the first to get pumped for this too! eeeee why am i so forgetful.

yaye we are back! the invincible sectwo07 secone06 trumpets are back.

and yes for sure we have grown and matured over this year and now we are in sectwo and its already june! and we got past syf (we had a beautiful SILVER award oh mans we rock :D) with the beautiful song madrigalum and we even have juniors now!

silver moon; oh the love and abigail. silver moon (yueying) is a scholar from china and shes a very fast learner and the best thing is shes so nice to bully right now :D but don't worry i haven't started yet but soon i will. after she joins the main band that is. oh man i pity her year scholars cause they don't even get a chance to take part in syf yea. its such a cool experience and yet they don't get it! how unfair but i guess thats life larh. its unfair. haiiz.

and now we are SENIORS wow i rock. and lingli and michelle and conny and jess you all rock too. what NICE seniors you all make i bet so far i am the one making the most contact with them. man you 4 ah! haha nevermind when they join main band we HAVE TO bear with it then. eee but until now actually i still don't want juniors. but no choice. i have already been a senior to my sis for so many years i guess its okay. but lingling you must start to understand how to be a senior, you too conny.

oh yaye we had our fanfare and concert todae, and we even chose our SYF piece, oh but i heard many people are not really happy with it, but mr yap liks it larh, so i guess no choice. but i think has a nice tune to it, esp for the 3rd tpets ok! i was ORIGINALLY playing that, then like, i got pushed up to 1st. its like, my first time in a LONG LONG time ago liao. its called sth like "green hills fantasy" ahaha. so cool right. ah nevermind. 1st goes up to high A which i can barely reach ok. yep, but i will try hard to get it, and in time to come, i might be able to get it as i wish ya'noe. wahaha. great!

today's concert was ok, but i liked the fanfare more. its fun to be standing up there looking down, but its not fun to have idiots calling out ur name and waving to you like mad pple, right? and so ms ng asked us to hide in the shade while the fatties had to endure the heat right under the sun. and aniwae, it like not helpful, because our band uni is stuffy itself ok. yep, ahaha. ok great. now i got nothing else to say. yep.

PLEASE update, people! wahaha, this is sad. ok fatties. Down one hundred! Constance the o-be-se, do another extra 160 rounds round the track. yaye, perfect. ok now, lets just update. Hmm, upcoming is our very very first concert! ok, but its a sad ceremony, so lets not be too happy about it. its ms heng's farewell, and its this friday! woah, not enough practice i think. after all we thought we were gonna play jesus christ superstar for our fanfare but they just changed it to sedona. eh, band ended late today, and kelly cried. ok, its sad, and i think i feel the stress coming from her. after all, she would be blamed if we din get a gold for syf or sth right? so lets work hard and NOT disapoint her. um, yes. yup, and the other song trumpets are doing(as a full band) is shrek dance party. its ok larh, not that bad as i just moved down to 3rd! whee!! wahaha, ok. so yep, i heard from the o-be-se that every other gal in the trumpet section has stage fright. well, its not that bad for me, considering i have done like such things before, but i think i got 10% stage fright or sth. i tend to fidget abit more. yep, shud be because of my nervousness. but ok larh, at least not like the others. ah. have to wear full band UNIFORM on friday. with stockings!!!! ahh, oh no. i worry for our o-be-se, se may not be able to fit into her ones, bought like months ago? ah but i do hope she can fit, that fatso, its unpredictable. she may get fatter. WAHAHA. ok great. this blog is updated once again!

Eeyer. None of you have been blogging! fatties XD Anyway, i know EOYs are coming, but you can't stop blogging just like that right? just like those other fat recruit bandits. leave all their blogging to me. haha, but i am NICE enough to continue blogging, even though EOYs are in 2 days. yep, i hope you all do well, and hopefully one of you would be in same class as me yea? i definitely hope so. But i think for our genius-cum-future-sl conny will go 2sy, its a definite thing larh. And so you all must do well academically and then come for band with a smile yea and don't feel disappointed with your scores, especially if its a B3 or sth. ITS SUPER GOOD OK!!! at least you don't get sth like what i get right? i think i will only get a C5 or sth for geog. that fat teo made it clear enough that i was the only girl who got a C in the class. YARH LARH WATHEVER. like i care? as long as i do well in maths, haha. i am a maths geek lor. i most probably will become a maths teacher(if i can make it, that is). BUT that was last time, i think i am going to be a MUSICIAN now. hahaha, its still quite a far dream, but i do really hope to become one. i love music! LOVE YA and GOOD LUCK! <33

oh cool. sectionals were quite fun. haha, we were practically playing! nobody knew where the trumpets were. but before that, we went thru HELL. we ran round almost the whole school once. for i think cuz we were doing nothing what and so eunice made us run lor. haha. ooh then after that we stopped at the courtyard and started playing captain's ball. haha. Me and jessica were in the same grp!!!!!! yayy. and Karyn and conny. yea. i was the goalkeeper, again. i love being goalkeeper! haha. and aniwae, i think we didn't have a final score. we just play without counting. then after that we played pepsi cola 123.. haha. i was 4th to be out. hmm.. 1st was Conny! haha. forgot who "killed" her. 2nd was ling li, and those two fatty tempted me by going to the water cooler without me!!!! then while they were away, eunice got "killed" by Karyn i think. then after tht's me liao. haha, zhao xian asked me if i really wanted to get out, and i said yes. haha. i was thirsty what.. and those 2 at the side keep going, "wah the water soooo nice and cold!!" they were getting on my nerves. haha. so then after that karyn out liao. then left the three finalists... TADA: michelle, Zhao Xian, and Jessica! i got pictures! show u..

Here to update. hmmm.. we had teachers' day celebration yesterday? yea lk, i know that was lame and everbody knows that. ok, i shall just type all my nonsensical blabberings. that phrase is really cool!!!!!!

Actually gals, running two rounds is no big deal right? maybe that will help us blow our trumpet better. well, i am not siding eunice by saying that, obviously not lah! XD i mean, more stamina can help us play OUT OF THE BELL. but still i dun appreciate the fact eunice made us run two rounds, in the sun. When i told ze abt it, she was like, "Cool! next time run with me." yea right. haha.

yayy. Lurve the trumpets haha. wanna get a NEW trumpet. not a handed down one. I mean, my trumpet is 11 yrs old? ha. And aniwae our seniors' ones are new wat, i doubt they need to cahnge it right? Mine needs a change, but i do hope i will get used to it, OH, and it must be a gold one, if not, i'd rather stick with my this one. My greatest worry right now is that those DSA students that get in may get the new trumpets and get into SYF while i do not.. Ah. i wish there are no DSA trumpeteers next yr. PLS!!!!

aniwae, i LOVE TRUMPETS!! Will most probably join the SSO, if possible, in the future. Hope my mum will allow. haha. all i want is to spend my life with the trumpet. yayy.
